The AmeriKids Preschool was established in September 1999 by parents within the embassy community for the primary purpose of delivering quality family-focused educational programming to the children of U.S. Mission members.
We provide a curriculum and an orderly, supportive environment in which the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical needs of our young children are met.
At the AmeriKids Preschool, students will find a nurturing, loving and intellectually stimulating environment in which growth and development are fostered as they play, discover, and learn.
Children pass through a series of stages as they develop. We recognize and respect each child's unique style and pace of learning, and we strive to provide individualized instruction, as well as a variety of developmentally appropriate toys, materials, and activities in order to stimulate their interests.
Our approach to the education of young children is family-focused. We encourage parents to visit the preschool regularly and to participate in its daily programs, special events, and general upkeep.
It is our mission to foster the positive self-esteem, creativity and independence of our young children, while respecting their differences and appreciating our cultural diversity. Our goal is to promote a strong sense of cultural identity among our children, as well as respect for and appreciation of other people and cultures.
